What If Life Is a Series Of Choices and Consequences?

What if there is a universal "Prime Directive" that we all have free will?

Would that mean everything in life is our own choice and the consequences of the choices we make?

Does this mean, we all have the choice to be rich or poor, to be smart or dumb, and possibly .... how long we can live and when we will die?

Is this "Prime Directive", is this universal free will, is this possible choice of how long we can live here on Earth ... Is this a secret, perhaps The Secret, to physical immortality?

Stay tuned for the answers to these questions. in the meantime, ponder the possibilities.

Just wondering if you have ever read The Lifes and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East, by Baird T Spalding.

In these books Mr. Spalding has met with masters that claim to be 500 years old and older. So is immortality possible, I don't see why not.

I have read the Spalding books, and while beautiful and fascinating, I have my doubts about certain parts of the stories (like people actually walking on water). But hey, why not? After all, we do not know everything about physics.

I also read the claim somewhere that these stories are fabricated and Spalding, never having been to India or Tibet himself, processed his father's or grandfather's travel notes into these allegedly ficitional books.

Well... I don't know. But I did like the books, and I deem physical immortality a very strong possibility. And I think that Ben Abba has stumbled upon some reasonable basics in his research. Always an interesting read.
